HTF Blenheim conference speaker, Culture24, invite you to register on the Things to Do website
The Things To Do website will help you discover great local activities offered by the BBC and partners connected to TV and radio programmes, and other BBC campaigns. They are currently working with hundreds of organisations such as the National Trust and The Wildlife Trusts as well as aggregate partners such as Culture24.
Culture24 is the official cultural data provider to the BBC.
This exciting three year (2011-2014) data-sharing collaboration gives museums, galleries, libraries, heritage sites and other cultural organisations the opportunity to have their activities channelled from the Culture24 DDE database to the BBC's Things To Do activities website.
Cultural venues are welcome to register as a partner if they
- are run on a not-for-profit basis or are a public service organisation
- have similar aims and objectives in connection with a particular campaign e.g. our Hands on History campaign aims to engage the public with history.
The BBC site launched in April 2011, gives audiences the opportunity to find and engage with hands-on activities in museums, galleries, heritage sites, libraries and other cultural venues around the UK.
You can find out more about the partnership on the Culture24 website.
