European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Award winner led by HTF member

A UK-led cultural heritage tourism initiative has won a prestigious EU prize for its work in education and awareness-raising. The pioneering SHAPING 24 project links the iconic ‘Norwich 12’ buildings with 12 heritage sites in Ghent, Belgium, and was led by Norwich’s Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust (HEART) in conjunction with Ghent City Council.  The project has been announced as a winner of the 2014 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, by the European Commission and Europa Nostra.
SHAPING 24 is also up for the Public Choice Award, chosen in an online poll conducted by Europa Nostra - you can vote for HEART’s SHAPING 24 project here
