HTF Vice chair at major sustainability conference

This groundbreaking two-day conferenceand trade exhibition took as its focus how our built heritage can address the challenge of climate change. The conference was organised by the Chartered Institute of Building in partnership with The National Trust, English Heritage and Somerset House. Leading experts provided perspectives on how historic buildings can sensibly & realistically meet the challenge of global warming. Professionals in the sector had the opportunity to share best practice and lessons learned. Speakers focused on energy use and issues of reducing threat and dealing with the impact of flooding on historic buildings.
